Mono Basin RPAC

Regular Meeting Time: Second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

The Mono Basin planning area is in the heart of Mono County, California, located on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and is bordered to the east by the state of Nevada. Mono Basin includes the communities of Lee Vining and Mono City. As of 2010, the population of the Mono Basin was approximately 446 people.

Conway Ranch View

Since 1998, the County has owned approximately 800 acres at the base of Conway Summit that was acquired with grant funds from CalTrans, California State Parks and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. The primary uses of the property are grazing, fish rearing, habitat preservation and open space preservation. Public access to Conway Ranch is permitted, but is restricted within the aquaculture area.
