UPDATE: June Lake Fire Evacuations

Effective at 2:00 pm today (9/18/2014), the evacuation orders for the June Lake area are to be lifted. All residences, businesses and Forest campgrounds will be open to the public with the exception of the Reversed Creek Campground which, will remain closed.

Residents and vistors are asked to drive with caution as firefighters and fire equipment may still be working on or near the roadways. Residents and visitors may still see and smell some lingering smoke in the area.

We would like to thank the residents of June Lake for their cooperation and support during firefighting operations.
