Robert Weber - Lieutenant

Lieutenant Robert Weber graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Prior to beginning his career with the Mono County Sheriff’s Department he taught for the Compton Unified School District. He began his career in Law Enforcement with the Mono County Sheriff’s Department in 1998.

Over the past years he has worked a variety of assignments ranging from June Lake Resident Deputy, Field Training Officer, Sergeant, Search and Rescue Coordinator, Chief Deputy Coroner and Narcotic Task Force Commander. He was promoted to the current rank of Lieutenant in December of 2004. In 2006 he attended the Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Robert and his wife Lorena have known each other since high school. They were married in 1998 and have two children. Both children attend school in Mammoth Lakes, and the family enjoys numerous outdoor activities.
